:: Adventures in Phone Banking

I cross-posted my adventures in early voting over at the Huffington Post and now for the update!

I spent the first half of my day at Obama campaign headquarters in downtown Chi-town -- it was great. We were recruiting Obama supporters to go canvassing for a big Get Out The Vote effort in Indiana. It's a vital swing state and is teetering toward Obama. This is no time to slack off!

I was so overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and varied backgrounds of those I spoke with. It was actually, dare I say, inspiring. I'm a pretty big cynic when it comes to politics, but this is a grass-roots movement, not the same-old crusty stuff out of Washington.

Plus, I recruited some folks to hoof it out there to Indiana.
